I have worked at Nordstrom for a good part of my life. I started when I was 18 as a gift wrapper during Christmas. During college I became a part timer. Now I am a full time Personal Stylist. It is truly one of the most fun jobs I could possibly imagine.
During my journey with Nordstrom, I've accumuldated a mass quantity of clothing. To put this into perspective for you, the amount of clothes I have in my closet was so overwhelming for my hubs that he offered to move his stuff out of our master closet and into the guest bedroom closet. Sweet I know, but sad on my part. I have learned over the years that if my closet isn't organized it takes me an abundant amount of time trying to find anything in the morning when I am scrambling to get ready.
The KEY to an organized closet is a good use of your space. One of the cheapest things I have ever done to organize mine is using crown molding as a shoe rack. Getting some of my shoes up off the floor gave me enough space for a small dresser instead. An organized life makes for a much simpler one and gives you more time to do the things you love.
