The other day I was on cleaning frenzy. Normally I absolutely hate cleaning but for some reason I was in the zone. So much so that I even thought to clean the microwave. I would have normally spent 15 minutes of my time trying to get all of the gross splatter spots off the sides of the wall BUT I remembered that I had seen a life hack the other day. The hack said to microwave a half a cup of water and lemon juice for 3 minutes. I, of course, didn’t have a lemon but I did have lemon juice (for my vodka sodas: DUH). After it cooks for 3 minutes you let it sit in the microwave for 5 more minutes to let the steam loosen all of the microwave gunk up. After that you simply open the door and wipe the microwave clean. Sounds too good to be true right? Well, it WORKED! Try it.
